District officials and the Indore Municipal Corporation used a bulldozer to remove illegal structures occupying over 20,000 sq ft of Indore Development Authority land on the MR Colony service road.

The district administration, in coordination with the Indore Municipal Corporation, launched a demolition drive early this morning on the service road of MR Colony, a segment of the city’s Super Corridor. A bulldozer was deployed to clear more than 20,000 square feet of land that belongs to the Indore Development Authority (IDA) and had been occupied illegally.

Officials from the district collector’s office, the municipal corporation’s engineering wing, and a police team supervised the operation to ensure safety and prevent any resistance. The joint effort reflects the authorities’ commitment to reclaim public land and maintain the planned layout of the Super Corridor.

The cleared area is expected to be integrated into the ongoing infrastructure projects along the corridor, which aim to improve traffic flow and support future commercial development. The administration has indicated that similar actions will be taken wherever unauthorized encroachments are identified on government property.
