India Recovers 5 Baby Orangutans; Smuggling Suspected

Five infant orangutans were recovered by wildlife officials in India after reports of illegal wildlife trade. The animals, believed to be smuggled from overseas, were found in a hidden location and were immediately taken to a veterinary facility. Investigators say the rescue points to a larger smuggling ring that may have been operating across borders. Authorities are working with law enforcement to trace the source of the animals and to prosecute those involved.
