India Post has created three new postal divisions in Ahmedabad to streamline mail services across the city.
India Post announced the creation of three new postal divisions in Ahmedabad, marking a significant restructuring of the city's mail network.
The new divisions are intended to reduce delivery times, improve sorting efficiency and provide better customer service for both residents and businesses.
Officials said the reorganisation will bring more localized management, allowing quicker response to regional demands and facilitating future expansion of services.
The move is expected to benefit small enterprises that rely on timely courier and postal facilities, as well as ordinary citizens who use post offices for everyday transactions.
India Post will monitor the performance of the divisions and may consider further adjustments based on operational feedback.
