India, Poland Forge New Defence Industry Cooperation Framework

India and Poland have agreed to a new defence industry cooperation framework, aiming to enhance joint research, development and production of military equipment. The agreement, signed in New Delhi, outlines plans for technology transfer, shared training programmes and collaborative procurement of defence assets. Both governments view the pact as a key step in strengthening strategic ties and diversifying defence partnerships. The framework also includes provisions for joint participation in defence exhibitions and workshops, fostering closer industrial linkages between the two countries. Officials say the collaboration will boost the capabilities of both nations’ armed forces and support the growth of their respective defence sectors.
