Bowling coach Marne Markel said the Indian team will rest players with a rotation policy during the West Indies series in Lucknow following their Asian Games gold.
Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir announced a rotation policy to give players rest during the ongoing bilateral series against West Indies in Lucknow.
The decision follows India's gold‑medal triumph at the Asian Games, prompting the coaching staff to manage player workload.
Bowling coach Marne Markel confirmed the policy will be implemented, allowing squad rotation and ensuring players remain fresh for upcoming matches.
The series, being played at the BRSABV Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, will see the rotation applied across batting and bowling line‑ups.
The move aims to maintain performance levels and reduce injury risk as the team prepares for future international commitments.
