The event, the latest edition of a global energy forum that debuted in Bengaluru in 2023, is set to host 750 exhibitors across 23,500 sqm of exhibition space, 12 country pavilions, 25,500 pre‑registered visitors, 540 speakers and 109 conference sessions.
IEW 2027 aims to be more global, connected and innovation‑led, bringing together investors, financial institutions, start‑ups, technologists, researchers and global energy leaders. New formats such as the Kolkata Debate, IGNITE Talks, Masterclasses and MC² Shark Tank will foster interactive, outcome‑driven conversations.
An Innovation Showcase Zone will highlight advances in clean energy, sustainability, decarbonisation and digital transformation, while personalised digital journeys, smart event tools and AI‑powered matchmaking enhance participation and partnership opportunities.
The forum will weave Kolkata’s rich cultural, industrial and intellectual heritage into the event through art, architecture, music, cuisine, performances and themed installations, underscoring the city’s evolution into a modern hub of economy and innovation and Eastern India’s growing role in the country’s energy landscape.
