India is installing advanced digital fencing along its borders, featuring concrete bases, steel barriers, and anti-drone technology to prevent infiltration and smuggling.
The Indian government is enhancing border security by installing a sophisticated digital fencing system designed to curb illegal infiltration and smuggling activities. This multi-layered defense mechanism aims to create a robust physical and electronic barrier along sensitive stretches of the border.
The construction process begins with the preparation of a solid concrete base on the ground to ensure structural stability. On top of this foundation, a steel fence approximately ten feet high is erected to provide a primary physical deterrent against unauthorized crossing.
To further strengthen the security perimeter, a mesh of Cobra wire is laid over the steel fencing. This addition is intended to prevent climbers from scaling the barrier, adding a critical layer of physical security to the infrastructure.
The system is also being equipped with advanced anti-drone technology. This integration of digital surveillance and counter-drone capabilities is expected to significantly improve the ability to detect and neutralize aerial threats, thereby bolstering overall border defense.
