India A will compete in a series of unofficial One-Day Internationals in South Africa, marking a key preparation phase for the squad.
India A has been scheduled to play a series of unofficial One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in South Africa, as announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The matches will take place at various venues across the country, providing the squad with valuable match practice on subcontinental pitches.
The series is part of India A’s ongoing campaign to strengthen depth in the national setup. By facing South African opposition, the players will gain exposure to different playing conditions and styles.
While the fixtures are not recognised as official ODIs, they carry significant weight for selectors and coaching staff. Performances in these games are expected to influence future selections for the senior national side.
The tour is slated to run over the next few weeks, after which the team will return to India for further training and domestic fixtures.
