A doctoral candidate at IIT Mandi took his own life after becoming distressed over his recent exam result, according to reports.
IIT Mandi, a premier engineering institute in Himachal Pradesh, reported the death of a PhD student who died by suicide on campus. The student, whose name has not been released, allegedly became highly distressed after receiving his latest examination result.
