IAS officer Kailash Vankhede, who serves as the Additional Secretary in the Energy Department, travelled to Indore to unveil his newly authored book titled “Andhere Ujale.” The launch event was attended by local officials and literary enthusiasts, marking the civil servant’s entry into the world of publishing.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vankhede emphasized that literature serves as a bridge between administrative duties and human empathy. He explained that his writing draws inspiration from the everyday hardships faced by common citizens, aiming to give voice to their silent struggles.
“Understanding the pulse of the ordinary person is the core of my narrative,” he said, adding that the book explores the interplay of darkness and light in everyday life, reflecting broader social challenges.
