The Hyderabad municipal authorities have announced temporary traffic diversions near the PVNR Expressway that will be in effect from Monday through Thursday.
The Hyderabad municipal corporation has issued a notice that traffic will be rerouted near the PV Narasimha Rao (PVNR) Expressway for four consecutive days, starting Monday and ending Thursday. The diversion is intended to facilitate ongoing road‑work and maintenance activities in the vicinity of the expressway.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted signs and use the alternative routes suggested by traffic police, which include nearby arterial roads such as the Inner Ring Road and the Musi River bridge. Commuters can expect moderate delays during peak hours, especially on the stretch between the Kukatpally and Miyapur junctions.
City officials have assured that the diversions will be monitored continuously and that any further adjustments will be communicated through local media and the municipal website. The temporary measures are expected to be lifted after Thursday, once the work is completed.
