Villagers from Byuhari in Shahdol district drove hundreds of stray cows and bulls to the tehsil office to highlight crop losses caused by roaming livestock.
In the village of Byuhari, located in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, local farmers organized an unusual protest against the growing problem of stray cattle damaging their fields. The community gathered a large number of cows and bulls, estimated in the hundreds, and escorted them to the tehsil office as a visual appeal for immediate action.
The stray herds have been entering cultivated lands, trampling crops and causing significant economic loss for the agrarian families. Frustrated by repeated incidents and limited relief from existing measures, the villagers decided to use the presence of the animals themselves to underscore the severity of the issue.
