The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education announced an extension of the registration deadline for class 9 and 10 admissions and will allow candidates to correct entries starting 17 November.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) issued a notice on its official portal stating that the registration period for students seeking admission to class 9 and class 10 has been extended. The board did not disclose the original cut‑off date but confirmed that the new deadline will give aspirants additional time to submit their applications.
In addition to the extended deadline, HPBOSE announced a correction window that will open on 17 November. During this period, candidates can log in to the online registration system to amend personal or academic details, upload missing documents, and rectify any errors made during the initial entry.
Board officials have urged students and parents to use the extra time wisely and to verify all information before the correction window closes. The extension aims to reduce the number of incomplete or erroneous applications and ensure a smoother admission process for the upcoming academic session.
Stakeholders are advised to monitor the HPBOSE website for any further updates and to complete all required steps before the final deadline to avoid disqualification.
