A growing list of film projects slated to shoot in Hoboken and Jersey City through 2026 highlights the region's appeal to Hollywood and independent filmmakers.
The New Jersey waterfront has become a popular backdrop for filmmakers, and a new list released by Hoboken Girl shows that the trend will continue into 2026.
The list includes a mix of big‑budget productions and indie features, many of which will use iconic locations such as Hoboken’s waterfront promenade, the historic 14th Street Bridge, and Jersey City’s Exchange Place.
Local officials say the influx of film crews will boost the economy, create temporary jobs, and promote the cities’ cultural profile.
While the full schedule is still being finalized, the announcement underscores the region’s growing reputation as a versatile filming destination.
