The state government issued a formal order on Thursday, directing the Ministry of Personnel and Administrative Reforms to implement a 5% increase in Dearness Allowance for all government employees across Himachal Pradesh. The hike will be reflected in the November salary payouts.
The decision follows a review of inflationary trends and the rising cost of basic commodities in the region. Officials stated that the adjustment is intended to provide a modest boost to employees’ purchasing power amid the current economic climate.
