Helicopter Crash in Jyotirmath Claims All 6 Passengers

A helicopter operating in the hills of Jyotirmath, Uttarakhand, crashed early this week, killing all six people on board. The aircraft was on a flight that had not yet reached its destination when it lost control and impacted a rocky slope. All six occupants, including the pilot, were pronounced dead at the scene. Rescue teams from the local police and the Indian Air Force were dispatched to the site, but the rugged terrain made the operation difficult. Investigators have begun a probe into the cause of the crash, with preliminary reports suggesting a possible mechanical failure.
