Heavy rains in Chhattisgarh kill one, two students missing

Heavy rainstorms swept through several districts of Chhattisgarh on Monday, causing a fatality when a resident was swept away by floodwaters. Rescue teams were dispatched to the area, but the victim could not be saved. In a separate incident, two school students went missing after the sudden rise of water levels cut off access to their village. Local police and volunteers have launched a search operation, urging residents to report any sightings. Authorities have warned that the weather may remain unsettled and have advised people to avoid low‑lying areas until conditions improve.
