The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a weather alert warning of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall across eastern Madhya Pradesh for the next four days.
According to the alert, the districts of Rewa, Sidhi, Katni, Shahdol, Anuppur, Seoni and Balaghat are likely to receive heavy rain today, with the downpour expected to continue through the coming days.
