Tamil Nadu is experiencing intense rainfall, causing flooding across several districts.
Tamil Nadu is grappling with heavy rainfall that has led to widespread flooding in multiple districts. Local authorities have issued warnings and urged residents to stay alert, especially in low-lying areas.
The rainfall, which began early this week, has saturated the soil and overwhelmed drainage systems. Several villages have reported waterlogging, with some roads becoming impassable.
Emergency services are on standby, and relief teams have been dispatched to affected communities. Residents are advised to avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary and to keep updated through local news channels.
Meteorological departments predict that the rains may continue for the next few days, with a possibility of further downpours. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely and have set up temporary shelters for those displaced by the flooding.
