Intense rainfall in Bhopal has flooded more than 1,000 houses up to 5 feet, left cars half-submerged, and caused snakes to enter homes.
Heavy rainfall has battered the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, causing widespread flooding and unusual wildlife intrusions.
According to local reports, more than 1,000 houses have been inundated with water up to five feet deep, leaving residents stranded and property severely damaged.
In addition to the flooding, several vehicles were found half-submerged in the water, highlighting the intensity of the downpour.
Witnesses also reported that snakes have entered homes, a consequence of the sudden rise in water levels forcing wildlife into human dwellings.
Authorities are working to provide relief and restore normalcy, but the situation remains critical for affected residents.
