The Haryana Special Task Force intercepted two vehicles carrying about 25,000 ammunition cartridges destined for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and detained five suspects.
The Haryana Special Task Force (STF) conducted a seizure operation in which roughly 25,000 ammunition cartridges were recovered from two concealed vehicles.
The cartridges were being smuggled towards the northern states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
During the raid, STF personnel apprehended five individuals believed to be part of the smuggling network.
Authorities said the haul underscores the ongoing challenge of illicit arms movement across state borders and that investigations are continuing to uncover the broader network.
