The state of Haryana has dispatched 24 tonnes of frozen food products to Canada, marking a notable addition to its export portfolio.
Haryana's food processing units have sent a consignment of 24 tonnes of frozen food items to Canada, according to a report by The New Indian Express. The shipment includes a variety of ready‑to‑cook and ready‑to‑eat products that meet international quality standards.
The export underscores the state's growing capability to cater to overseas markets, especially in the frozen food segment, which has seen rising demand globally. Haryana's agricultural and food processing sectors have been focusing on value‑added products to boost earnings.
State officials indicated that the Canadian order reflects confidence in Indian frozen food quality and is expected to encourage further trade ties with North American buyers.
