The Haryana government has increased the Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief by 3% and earmarked ₹4,470 crore for welfare schemes.
The Haryana government announced a 3% hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its employees and pensioners, effective from the upcoming pay cycle.
The increase is expected to lift the take‑home pay of a broad spectrum of public servants, including civil servants, teachers and other government staff, as well as retired personnel.
Alongside the allowance rise, the state has transferred ₹4,470 crore to various welfare schemes. The funds will support initiatives aimed at women, children, the elderly and other vulnerable groups across Haryana.
The move is part of the government’s broader strategy to strengthen social security and enhance the financial well‑being of its citizens.
