Haryana has activated its new electric vehicle policy today, detailing incentives and regulations to boost EV adoption across the state.

Today, the government of Haryana officially launched its new electric vehicle policy, marking a significant step toward promoting sustainable transport in the state. The policy, which comes into effect immediately, sets out a framework for incentives, tax benefits, and the development of charging infrastructure to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles among residents and businesses. Under the guidelines, eligible buyers and manufacturers can avail of subsidies and simplified registration processes, while local authorities are tasked with expanding charging networks across urban and rural areas. State transport officials have said the initiative aims to reduce pollution and create new economic opportunities, positioning Haryana as a leader in India's EV transition.
