The state government has rolled out e-Upchar, a digital health portal that allows citizens to register and scan medical records online, aiming to streamline healthcare access across Haryana.
Recently, the Haryana government inaugurated the e‑Upchar digital health portal, a new platform that enables citizens to register and scan their medical records online.
The portal allows patients to upload scans of prescriptions, lab reports and other documents, which are then linked to a unique digital ID. Hospitals and clinics across the state can access these records in real time, reducing the need for physical paperwork.
Health officials say the service will speed up appointment booking, improve continuity of care and help the state monitor health data more efficiently.
The launch follows a pilot phase in several districts, and the government plans to extend the service to all public and private health facilities by the end of the year.
