The Haryana Professional Forum and Jind Social Forum have unveiled a voluntary, non‑political program aimed at reducing drug abuse across 300 villages in Haryana.

The Haryana Professional Forum and Jind Social Forum announced the launch of a community‑led initiative to curb drug abuse in 300 villages across the state. The program is voluntary and deliberately non‑political, relying on local volunteers who have deep roots in Haryana. Officials from the forums said the initiative will involve outreach, education and support services tailored to each village’s needs. By engaging residents directly, the project aims to create sustainable change and reduce dependency on harmful substances.
