The Director General of Police in Haryana has ordered a coordinated operation to dismantle drug trafficking rings and criminal gangs across the state.
The Director General of Police (DGP) of Haryana announced a multi‑pronged operation aimed at breaking up drug‑smuggling networks and associated criminal gangs.
The directive calls for intensified surveillance, district‑wide raids on suspected hideouts and the seizure of narcotics.
Police officials said the strategy will also involve intelligence sharing with central agencies and neighbouring states to disrupt supply chains.
The DGP emphasized that the crackdown seeks to curb the rising availability of illicit substances and restore public safety, with progress monitored closely by the state command.
