Haryana's overall crime rate has dropped by 9.41%, prompting the Director General of Police to order a detailed analysis at the police station level.
The overall crime rate in Haryana has witnessed a significant decline of 9.41%, marking a notable shift in the state's security landscape. This reduction in criminal activity has been highlighted in recent official data, drawing attention to the effectiveness of current policing strategies.
In response to this development, the Director General of Police (DGP) has issued specific directives to the state police force. The DGP has ordered a comprehensive analysis of crime trends at the police station level.
This move aims to identify specific areas where crime has decreased and to understand the factors contributing to this improvement. By focusing on individual police stations, the administration seeks to ensure that the positive trend is sustained and that any localized issues are addressed promptly.
The analysis will likely involve reviewing case registers and comparing current figures with previous periods to gain a granular understanding of the state's crime profile. This data-driven approach is expected to help in refining future policing strategies across Haryana.
