A helicopter owned by the Haryana chief minister was parked on the athletics track at Gurgaon stadium, preventing athletes from using the facility for four days, reports The Times of India.
The Times of India reported that a helicopter belonging to the Haryana chief minister was stationed on the athletics track of the stadium in Gurgaon for four consecutive days.
The aircraft’s presence forced stadium officials to shut down the track, denying local athletes, coaches and school teams access to their regular training venue.
The closure, which lasted four days, disrupted preparation schedules for upcoming state and national competitions. Once the helicopter was removed, the track was reopened for use.
Sports authorities have urged better coordination between government officials and sports bodies to prevent such interruptions in the future.
