New Delhi, Oct 2 (The News Mill) – Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar formally launched the Startup Haryana Seva Sankalp initiative today, signalling the state government's renewed focus on youth‑led entrepreneurship. The programme is positioned as a comprehensive support system for aspiring founders, offering mentorship, access to incubation facilities and potential financial assistance.
Speaking at the launch event, the CM highlighted the importance of nurturing innovative ideas to generate employment and diversify the state's economic base. He urged young professionals to leverage the scheme's resources and collaborate with existing industry players.
State officials indicated that the initiative will be coordinated through existing agencies such as the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) and the Department of Industries. Interested candidates will be able to register online and receive guidance on business planning, market research and funding avenues.
The launch follows a broader national push to strengthen the startup ecosystem, with several states rolling out similar schemes. Haryana hopes that the Seva Sankalp programme will attract a new wave of home‑grown startups and contribute to the state's growth trajectory.
