Haryana has launched the e-Kharid gate pass system for paddy arrivals ahead of the procurement season. The initiative replaces manual paperwork with an electronic pass that farmers can obtain before reaching the procurement centre.
By streamlining the entry process, the system aims to reduce waiting times and ensure a smoother flow of paddy to the mandis. Officials say the move will help farmers avoid delays during the peak procurement period.
