As of its 54th day in theatres, the devotional film Hanuman Ansh, based on the life of saint Neem Karoli Baba, has earnings that are ₹17 crore short of surpassing the lifetime collection of the 2023 war drama Border 2.
The film Hanuman Ansh has been running in cinemas for 54 days since its release. It presents a devotional narrative centered on the teachings and life of Neem Karoli Baba, a revered Indian saint.
Trade sources indicate that the movie’s cumulative box office collection currently stands ₹17 crore below the total earnings of Border 2, which had a strong theatrical run earlier this year.
Despite the gap, the film continues to attract audiences, particularly in regions where devotional content performs well, maintaining steady occupancy in single-screen and multiplex venues.
Analysts note that if the current trend persists, Hanuman Ansh may close the gap in the coming weeks, depending on weekday holds and any potential re‑release strategies.
