Gwalior Road Accident: Jitu Patwari Demands ₹25 Lakh Compensation for Each Victim Family

A high‑speed collision on a Gwalior highway on Tuesday resulted in 16 fatalities and several injuries, prompting widespread public outcry. Local resident Jitu Patwari, who was present at the scene, has publicly demanded that the state government pay ₹25 lakh to each family of the deceased and cover all medical expenses for the wounded. Patwari travelled to Bhopal to meet the injured patients, expressing his concern over their treatment costs and the lack of immediate support. He has also called for an impartial inquiry into the accident, insisting that authorities investigate the circumstances that led to the tragedy.
