Gurugram Stadium Becomes Parking Lot for Haryana CM's Helicopter, Athletes Blocked

The Gurugram stadium, a key venue for regional sports events, was temporarily converted into a parking area for the helicopter of Haryana Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This decision, made in the early hours of the day, left athletes and coaching staff unable to enter the complex for scheduled training sessions. Officials cited security concerns and the need to facilitate the CM’s travel as reasons for the move. The change has prompted criticism from local sports associations, who argue that the stadium’s primary purpose is to support athletes and that alternative arrangements should have been considered.
