The local body elections and accompanying by‑polls held across Gujarat's municipalities and panchayats have been declared complete. The State Election Commission reported that voting proceeded smoothly in all constituencies.
Preliminary observations suggest a satisfactory level of voter participation, reflecting steady public engagement in the grassroots democratic process.
Security agencies and election officials confirmed that no incidents of violence, intimidation, or electoral malpractice were reported during the entire polling period.
The commission will now move to the counting phase, with results expected to be announced in the coming days.
