Gujarat Launches 'Baal Vivah Mukt Rath' to Combat Child Marriage

The Gujarat government has taken a significant step towards combating child marriage with the launch of 'Baal Vivah Mukt Rath'. This specially designed vehicle will travel across the state, disseminating information about the harmful effects of child marriage and promoting awareness about the legal age of marriage. The campaign aims to educate communities, particularly young people, about the importance of education, gender equality, and the rights of girls. The 'Baal Vivah Mukt Rath' will also serve as a platform for counseling and support services for families and individuals affected by child marriage.
