The Gujarat government has transferred ten IPS and SPS officers, with six of them being appointed as Commandants of the State Reserve Police Force. Mansi Meena has been promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Police in the Viramgam Division.

The Gujarat government announced a reshuffle of its police cadre, transferring ten IPS and SPS officers to new postings. Six of the transferred officers have been appointed as Commandants of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), a unit tasked with maintaining public order and assisting in disaster management.

Among the appointments, Mansi Meena has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and will serve in the Viramgam Division. The move is part of the state’s routine personnel reorganisation aimed at strengthening law‑enforcement capabilities.

The SRPF commandants will oversee training, deployment and operational readiness of their respective units. The appointments are expected to enhance the force’s effectiveness in handling civil disturbances and emergency situations across Gujarat.
