Gujarat Government to Affix Official Seals on Online Certificates

Gujarat's administration has decided to embed an official seal on every digital certificate issued by its departments. The measure is aimed at strengthening the credibility of online documents and reducing the risk of counterfeit certificates. Officials said the seal will be digitally signed and visible to recipients and verifying authorities alike. The initiative forms part of the state's broader push toward e‑governance and secure digital services. Implementation details, including the rollout timeline, will be communicated by the concerned departments in the coming weeks.
