New Delhi – The Union Government announced a sweeping relief programme for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The initiative, presented by the Ministry of Education, seeks to address the persistent financial challenges faced by these students in pursuing higher education.
The package is expected to include fee waivers for tuition and examination charges, expanded scholarship schemes, and interest‑free educational loans for eligible beneficiaries.
