Amritsar’s iconic Golden Temple is set to receive a massive floral makeover ahead of Diwali, with organisers planning to use around one hundred tonnes of fresh blossoms. The decoration effort is being coordinated by the temple’s management committee in conjunction with local horticultural suppliers.
The flowers, sourced from various parts of Punjab, will be arranged around the sanctum’s marble pathways, the sarovar and the main entrance, creating a vibrant visual tribute to the Festival of Lights.
