Goa Urges Use of FTAs to Drive Export Growth

Anil Sawant, Goa's tourism minister, called for the state to tap Free Trade Agreement (FTA) opportunities to strengthen its export sector. He noted that Goa has signed FTAs with several countries, yet the potential remains largely untapped. Sawant urged state agencies to work closely with private firms to identify new export markets and streamline processes. The government plans to introduce measures that simplify export procedures and offer incentives to exporters.
