Three people have been booked by the Goa police for allegedly defrauding a person of Rs 2.5 lakh with fake promises of employment in Germany.
The Goa police have initiated legal action against three individuals involved in a job fraud racket. The accused are alleged to have cheated a victim of Rs 2.5 lakh by promising them employment opportunities in Germany.
According to the police, the suspects lured the victim with the prospect of a job abroad, collecting a significant sum of money under false pretenses. Upon realizing the fraud, the victim approached the authorities to report the crime.
Following the complaint, the police have officially booked the three suspects. Investigations are currently underway to uncover the full extent of the operation.
