The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Goa has clarified that no eligible elector will be left behind as the state addresses a list of 97 missing voters ahead of the forthcoming elections.
In a statement released to the press, the CEO assured that the electoral roll has been thoroughly reviewed and that all missing names will be cross‑checked with voter registration records and local administrative lists.
The office is also coordinating with district authorities to verify the identities of the missing voters and to ensure that their names are added to the final roll before the election date.
Officials say that the measures taken will prevent any disenfranchisement and maintain the integrity of the electoral process in Goa.
