In Garo Hills, Meghalaya, a memorial ceremony was held to honor nine individuals who lost their lives during a police firing incident two decades ago.
On a solemn day in Garo Hills, a gathering of residents and officials paid tribute to nine martyrs who were killed in a police firing incident that occurred 21 years ago. The event, held at a local memorial site, featured speeches by community leaders and a moment of silence to honor the victims.
