Garba Festival Thrills as Dancers Take to the Floor Beyond the Traditional Circle

The Garba celebration saw a noticeable shift as dancers moved beyond the traditional circular formation that usually defines the folk performance. Attendees gathered around the central stage, but many chose to step onto the surrounding floor, matching their steps to the rhythmic beats.

Organisers noted that the spontaneous expansion of the dance area reflected the participants' enthusiasm and the festive spirit that characterises Navratri celebrations. While the core circle remained active, the peripheral crowd added a vibrant layer to the visual spectacle.

Music played continuously, with dhols and traditional instruments driving the tempo. The lively atmosphere encouraged both seasoned performers and casual revelers to join in, creating a collective experience that blended tradition with a more open, inclusive expression of joy.
