Pre‑monsoon forecasts indicate that water levels may remain high for several days, prompting officials to advise people in low‑lying areas to stay vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel and follow instructions from rescue personnel. Relief camps have been set up in nearby towns to provide shelter, food and medical aid to displaced families.
