Three fraudsters were arrested by the Enforcement Directorate after they lured a victim into transferring ₹2.6 crore into hidden supervision accounts.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has detained three individuals involved in a sophisticated financial fraud that saw a victim transfer ₹2.6 crore into so‑called "secret supervision accounts." The accounts, which were monitored by the ED, were used by the fraudsters to siphon off the money.

According to the ED, the suspects lured the victim through a series of deceptive communications, convincing them that the transfer was for a legitimate investment. Once the money was moved, the fraudsters used the secret accounts to conceal the flow of funds.

The arrests come as part of a broader crackdown on money‑laundering and financial scams. The ED has stated that it will continue to monitor the accounts and investigate any further illicit activity linked to the case.
