Samsung announced that four student teams have been awarded a total of Rs 2 crore and will receive incubation facilities at IIT Delhi under the Solve for Tomorrow 2026 programme.

Samsung India’s Solve for Tomorrow 2026 competition concluded with four student teams emerging as winners. The finalists were awarded a combined cash prize of Rs 2 crore, which will be distributed equally among them. In addition to the monetary award, each team will receive incubation support at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, enabling them to develop their prototypes further.

The competition, aimed at encouraging innovative solutions to real‑world challenges, attracted entries from engineering and technology colleges across the country. Samsung’s selection panel evaluated the projects on criteria such as originality, feasibility, and potential social impact before shortlisting the four winners.

The incubation programme at IIT Delhi will provide the teams access to laboratory facilities, mentorship from faculty and industry experts, and opportunities for pilot testing. Samsung expects the collaboration to accelerate the commercialization of the winning ideas and contribute to India’s emerging startup ecosystem.

The winners are slated to present their projects at a ceremony to be held later this month, after which the incubation phase will commence.
