Former MLA Ajit Kushwaha Injured in Patna Protest Against Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar

During an India Alliance rally in Patna demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, former MLA Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh, known as Ajit Kushwaha, was injured while scaling a barricade.
Patna witnessed a large India Alliance demonstration on Saturday, with participants chanting slogans and demanding the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the electoral process. The protest gathered near the state secretariat, where barricades had been erected to control the crowd.
Amid the agitation, former Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly member Dr. Ajit Kumar Singh, popularly known as Ajit Kushwaha, attempted to climb over the barricade. While doing so, he lost his footing and fell, sustaining injuries that required immediate medical attention.
Kushwaha was promptly taken to a nearby hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. Police officials reported that the protest continued without further incidents, and no other injuries were reported. The incident underscores the heightened tension surrounding the upcoming elections in Bihar.
