A tiger has been seen moving continuously around Tilri village in Madhya Pradesh, prompting the forest department to deploy two elephants for surveillance and potential rescue.
A tiger was reported to be roaming continuously around the village of Tilri in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandla district, raising alarm among residents and authorities.
In response, the local forest department mobilised a specialised team to monitor the animal’s movements and assess any threat to the community.
Two trained elephants were deployed to the area, equipped with tracking devices and accompanied by rangers, to keep a close watch on the tiger’s path and to be ready for a swift rescue if necessary.
Officials said the operation will continue until the tiger’s presence is confirmed to be safe for villagers, and they urged residents to stay alert and report any sightings immediately.
